Wisner-Pilger High School Graduation

Forty Seniors will receive diplomas at commencement exercises scheduled for 2:00 pm on May 13th at Wisner-Pilger High School.  Senior Class colors are Teal and Gold with the Dahlia being chosen as the class flower.   The motto for the class of 2017 is: "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr. Seuss The Wisner-Pilger Band will perform the selection . . .

Wisner-Pilger Quiz Bowl Claims Conference Runner-Up Trophy

The Wisner-Pilger Quiz Bowl team competed at the East Husker Conference Quiz Bowl competition at Scribner-Snyder High School on Monday, March 27th. The team received runner-up honors. By the end of the pool play, the team had won one game and lost two. This placed the team as the tenth place seed going into the single-elimination tournament. Gator Speech Team Earns Conference Runner-Up Trophy

Wisner-Pilger Art Trip 2017

Last Wednesday, Wisner-Pilger High School students in Mr. Hughes’ art class took a trip to Omaha to explore classical and modern art and learn more about working in an art studio.  Their first stop was the Joslyn Art Museum, where they took a guided tour of famous works by various artists including Grant Wood and Dale Chihuly, and then explored the travelling exhibit that focused on nature and hunting in art.  They . . .
