Congratulations to the Wisner-Pilger one act cast and crew, as they placed fourth overall at the C1 state championship at Norfolk High School! That is the highest state finish for a Gator play in school history! And congratulations to Owen Heller, who was named the state C1 Best Actor--he is only the third W-P performer to earn that honor in school history! Gator performers earning "Outstanding Performance" recognition were Owen Heller, McKenna Slonecker, Izzy Manning, Jose Ramirez, Karl Steinmeyer and Brynn Oswald! Congratulations on an awesome season, Gator cast and crew!

Calendar Update/Change... the 7-12 Vocal Concert Scheduled for Thursday, December 8th will be Monday December 12th at 6:30PM
Door Decorating Contest... Student Council will be sponsoring a door decorating contest again this year. Doors will be judged on Tuesday, December 20th. The winning Flex class will receive treats on Wednesday, December 21st. Door designs should be approved in advance by your flex teacher.
Schedule Changes... Students requesting a schedule change for next semester may pick up a Schedule Change Request Form from the counseling office starting Monday, December 12th. Forms must be signed and returned to the counseling office by Friday, December 16th.
Gator Fans Attending the Wisner-Pilger vs Tekamah-Herman basketball games on Friday December 9th can participate in the Tekamah-Herman FBLA Food Drive. One can of food will get you into the game. Donations are going to the backpack program. Games will be JV Boys beginning at 4:30pm, followed by Varsity Girls then Varsity Boys. (No JV Girls Game)
Holiday Food Drive Competition... Student Council is sponsoring a food drive to benefit our local food banks. Please donate by bringing canned or shelf-stable foods to school. Donations can be dropped off at the tree by the study hall area. The goal is to collect 1,000 items. If the goal is met, students will earn a pajama and popcorn day on the last day of school!
Juniors... The Greater Omaha Council Bluffs Area Council on Youth Leadership has opened applications for the 2023 "Youth Salute". Awards include a photographic banner displayed at school and an opportunity to win scholarships and a national leadership experience. To qualify a student must: (1) be a high school junior, (2) Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and (3) have held two leadership positions within the past two years in school, religious, or community sponsored organizations. Students who qualify should apply at www.greateromaha.youthsalute.com. The deadline to apply is December 18th. See Mrs. Reese if you have questions.
December 22... December 22 is a Noon Dismissal. In addition to the incentives for the food drive, we will have games and activities starting at 10:15 for all students in good academic standing. In order to participate, students must be passing all classes and have no missing work. Students with missing work or failing grades will work with teachers from 10:15 until noon dismissal.
