Congratulations to the Wisner-Pilger Sr. High band and choir on their 1+ (Superior +) rating at District Music Contest last Friday. This is the highest possible rating for a large ensemble. Individual results include: Division I (Superior): Men's Group, Women's Group, Mitchell Siebrandt - trumpet, Jose Ramirez - bass clarinet, Laura Ramirez-Torres - clarinet, McKenna Slonecker - flute, Brass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Mitchell Siebrandt - vocal solo, Clarinet Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Ella Breitkreutz - vocal solo, McKenna Slonecker - vocal solo, Jose Ramirez - vocal solo, Laura Kinnison - alto saxophone, and Karl Steinmeyer - marimba solo. Division II (Excellent): Saxophone Ensemble, Sam Thompson - vocal solo, Riley Theroes - vocal solo, and Laura Ramirez-Torres - vocal solo. The Brass Ensemble also received the NSAA Outstanding Performance Award for their room and Laura Kinnison received the NSAA Outstanding Performance Honorable Mention Award.

All students are encouraged to take a leadership role by applying for Student Council. Please pick up an application in the front office. The deadline to return applications is Friday, May 6th.

The registration deadline for the June 11th ACT is May 6th. Test fee waivers are available for qualifying students. Register at act.org.

Reminder Drivers Education Forms are due April 29th. Stop by the front office if you need a form.

Blood Drive Community Blood Drive this Wednesday, April 27th, 11am to 4pm and the Wisner-Pilger High School Gym. No masks required and they are testing for antibodies.

Jr. High track athletes will be dismissed to go to the track meet today at 2:30.

MUSIC BOOSTERS has the concessions stand for tomorrow's Wisner-Pilger Track Inv We are in need of parent volunteers to help with each shift. If you have a student in either band or choir, and are available to help out, please contact Mr. Dennis, Mr. Dozler, or the Jr/Sr High School office to sign up. Shifts include: Shift 1 - 3:00pm - 4:30pm, Shift 2 - 4:30pm - 6:00pm, and Shift 3 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Thanks in advance for your help and support!

LETTER JACKET ORDERS... Our Letter Jacket salesman will be taking orders on Wednesday, April 27. He will be in Mr. Polk's room from 11:30-2:00 to help fit jackets and take orders. Payment is required at the time you order. Order forms are available from Mr. Polk.

Cheer and Dance Sign-Up is located in the high school office. Please sign up if you are interested in being a part of the Gator Spirit Squad. A MANDATORY meeting will be held Friday April 29th at 7:30 AM in Mrs. Butterfield's classroom. Please look for fliers around the school or contact Mrs. Butterfield for more information and/or questions.

There are many many overdue library books. If you are still reading your book, stop by the library to renew it. If you are done with the book, please return it. Not sure if you have books checked out? Stop by the library and check your account. You will be charged for any books not returned.
