SUMMER WEIGHT LIFTING: Similar to last year, we will have summer weight lifters complete a survey to decide what summer lifting session they will be in. The survey will be posted on the school website on Monday, May 10. The link will be open from Monday, May 10 - Friday, May 14. Lifting sessions will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, with siblings being taken into consideration. The sessions for this summer are as follows:6:00 - 7:00 A.M., 7:00 - 8:00 A.M., 8:00 - 9:00 A.M.

CONGRATULATIONS to the track teams that competed this past week on some exceptional performances. At the Norfolk Classic Kayla Svoboda placed 2nd in the pole vault; 1st in the 300H (breaking her school record); 3rd in the 100H (breaking her school record) and 6th in the 200m. Lindsey Kneifl placed 5th in the 100m; 5th in the 400m; 7th in the long jump and 4th in the triple jump. Beau Ruskamp 8th in the 200m and 3rd in the 300H Augie Scholting 4th in the 800. Saturday at the EHC Conference the Girls finished runner-up and the boys placed 9th. AGAIN, Lindsey broke her own school long jump record and Kayla broke her own 100H record. Congratulations to all the athletes who competed!!

All Jr. High Track Athletes will be dismissed today at 2:30. Girls, your events will be posted on the lunch room window today.

Football... There will be a mandatory informative meeting for any and all boys interested in playing high school football next fall in Mr. Burki's room on Wednesday May 5 during flex. You must all check into your flex hour with your teacher before coming to the meeting.

Seniors... if you would like your scholarships in the graduation program, they must be turned to Mrs. Reese or the front office by Friday. Thank You!

GREAT SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY... The City of Wisner is looking to hire lifeguards for the pool this summer. Applications need to be received by the city office no later than May 7th at Noon. Pick up your application TODAY!!

The 2020-2021 school year is coming to a close... we would appreciate all lunch balances being paid to a zero or to have a positive balance by the end of the school year. Thank You!!

Seniors... as your school year comes to a close, please remember that all bills must be paid and detention hours served before you will receive your cap and tassel. Inquire at the front office if you need to check on these items. Thank You!

The Speech and One Act Awards Supper is tonight at 6:30 PM in the Elementary Commons! Remember your food assignments!

Looking ahead: Seniors - your library books are due on or before Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Fines will be turned over to the office on Wednesday morning for any missing or damaged books. Grades 7 -11 - your library books are due on or before Friday, May 14, 2021. Make sure you take any necessary tests before this date. Fines for any missing or damaged books will be taken to the office on Monday, May 17, 2021.

2021 Junior High Gator Volleyball Players - Please pick up a camp registration form in the office. Registrations are due to Coach Raabe on/before Friday, May 7.

2021 High School Gator Volleyball Players - We will meet next Friday, May 7 @ 7:45 in the north gym. See you there!

Dual Credit Class Registration... Mrs. Reese will be in the cafeteria during Flex on Wednesday, May 5th for anyone who needs to finish registering for NECC dual credit classes.

Students... Computer check in time is right around the corner. Please make sure you have the correct charger that belongs to your computer. If you have lost, damaged or your numbers on your computer and charger do not match, you need to come see Mrs. Kreikemeier right away to get that squared away. If you do not have your correct items during your time of checkout, you will come after everyone else is finished so we can resolve your problem. So in other words, please take care of that right now. I’m guessing you will want to leave right away on your last day so I don’t want to hold you up because of something that could have been done earlier. Thanks!

Senior Computer Cleaning and Check In: Seniors please find time to come to the library/tech room on Friday May 7th or Monday May 10th to clean computers. Senior check-in will begin Tuesday, May 11th and continue through Wednesday morning, May 12th. Computer check-ins MUST be completed by 10:30 Wednesday morning in order for you to check out. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING SAVED AS ALL MACHINES WILL BE ERASED AND WIPED CLEAN. Please make sure the computer has a full charge and the computer bag and charger is clean as well. All seniors will be given the option to purchase their computer, charger and bag for $200. You must fill out the purchase form that is located in the office BEFORE check out day with the payment. Seniors please stop by school the week of June 7th to pick up your machine. (Even if you plan on purchasing your machine, you MUST still follow the above instructions as all senior machines will be cleaned and all information will be erased.) Once that purchased machine leaves the building, Wisner-Pilger will not be responsible for any damages, repairs or computer support. Thank You!!

Detention Time Seniors - Reminder that all detention time must be served prior to your last day in order to be eligible to participate in graduation activities. Underclassman - Reminder that all detention time must be served before checking out on the last day of school. If you have any holds on your checkout, you will not be able to get your computer next Fall until the holds are cleared.
