Happy Birthday today to... Riley Vondrak!!


Blood Drive The Wisner-Pilger Student Council is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive at Wisner-Pilger High School on Wednesday, April 23. You must weigh at least 110 lbs and at least 5 feet tall to be eligible for blood donation for your own safety. Donors under the age of 17 must have parental consent signed prior to donating blood. Students that would like to donate should discuss it with their parents and coaches first. Anyone wishing to schedule a donation should contact Mr. Butterfield in the High School office - 402-529-3249 or abutterfield@igators.org


SENIORS... please complete the Scholarship Reporting Form that was sent to your email. All scholarships you have been awarded, from any college you applied to as well as any outside organizations, must be submitted by Thursday, April 16.


A representative from Midland University will be here on Tuesday, April 14th during lunch. Stop by and see what Midland has to offer.


April Student Council Meeting Will be Tuesday, April 14 at 7:45 AM


A representative from the Army National Guard will be here on Wednesday, April 15th during lunch. Stop by to see what the National Guard has to offer.


Mass for Prom Students... will be held at St. Joseph's in Wisner on Saturday, April 25th at 5:00 pm. All Jr and Sr students and their guests are invited to attend.


Juniors and Seniors... Outside date forms are due by this Friday, April 17th.


Sign-Up for Summer Drivers Education Class is open... stop by the front office for more information or to sign up and pick up a form. Drivers Education classes are from Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, May 29th (4 days) 7:30am to 12:30pm each day. Completed forms and payment are due back to the front office by Friday, May 1st.


Students Needed... The Cuming County Relay for Life needs students to help work the Waffleman Community Fundraiser on Sunday, April 19th. We need help setting up, serving, and cleaning up. The times to work are 8am to 11am and/or 11am to 2pm. Anyone interested please contact Traci Ebel at 417-689-4550. Thank You!!


Prom Information Prom is scheduled for Saturday April 25th. Class pictures will begin shortly at 7:00 PM with the Grand March following at 8:00. Sobriety checks will be conducted by an officer for all Prom attendees - exit and re-entry are not permitted after sobriety checks. The dinner and dance will follow the Grand March. The dance will end at midnight with Post Prom starting immediately after and doors closing at 12:30am. Attendees must stay to the end of the dance to be eligible to attend Post Prom. Facilities are provided to change clothes between Prom and Post Prom, if needed.


Wisner Pool is hiring pool managers and lifeguards for this summer... If you are interested and are 15 years of age or older stop by the high school office for an application. If you need to get certified in lifeguard, water safety instructor, pool operator and/or CPR please don't wait. Please check with the YMCA in Norfolk or Fremont to see what classes they will be having available soon. If you have any questions, please call the City Office at 402-529-6616.
