STATE SPEECH QUALIFIERS... you have state goodie bags in the front office! You may take items from the bags each day after school and take the bag with you on Thursday. GOOD LUCK AT STATE!!
The late registration deadline for the April 11th ACT is March 24th. Test fee waivers are available for qualifying students. Late fees will apply. Register at act.org. See Mrs. Reese if you have questions.
Sign-Up for Summer Drivers Education Class is open... stop by the front office for more information or to sign up and pick up a form. Drivers Education classes are from Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, May 29th (4 days) 7:30am to 12:30pm each day. Completed forms and payment are due back to the front office by Friday, May 1st.
Juniors and Seniors: Grand March sign-up is in the office. Sign up by Friday, April 10th.
Juniors and Seniors: Prom sign-up is in the office. Please sign up or mark you are not attending by Friday, April 10th. Underclassmen and out of town dates are $25. These need to be paid for by Friday, April 10th.
Junior High Basketball Players please turn in your practice jerseys. The following boys also need to turn in their game jerseys ASAP. Ryley Donner, Henry Jacobs, Giddean Andersen and Kevin Apodaca.
Scholastic Contest The Scholastic Contest will be at NECC on Wednesday, April 1. Students and competition assignments are posted on the bulletin board by the office. Students attending will need to be at school by 7:15 AM and bring money for lunch at a fast food restaurant. Students will be provided information sheets with their test time, location, and calculator/equipment requirements. If there are any questions, please see Mr. Butterfield.
Students in grades 8–11, please make sure you return your course approval forms to Mrs. Reese by Friday, March 27th. These forms were mailed to your home address. If you need another copy, please stop by the counseling office.
Cheer Team Tryout Sign Up in the front office... for all incoming 9-12 graders interested in joining the cheer team. Brief tryout informational meeting, Wednesday, April 1st 7:30am in the north gym.
Wisner Pool is hiring pool managers and lifeguards for this summer... If you are interested and are 15 years of age or older stop by the high school office for an application. If you need to get certified in lifeguard, water safety instructor, pool operator and/or CPR please don't wait. Please check with the YMCA in Norfolk or Fremont to see what classes they will be having available soon. If you have any questions, please call the City Office at 402-529-6616.
