Scholastic Contest The Scholastic Contest will be at NECC on Wednesday, April 1. Students and competition assignments are posted on the bulletin board by the office. Students attending will need to be at school by 7:15 AM and bring money for lunch at a fast food restaurant. Students will be provided information sheets with their test time, location, and calculator/equipment requirements. If there are any questions, please see Mr. Butterfield.
All sophomores will take the Pre-ACT on Monday, March 23rd. Students should report to their first-period class for attendance and lunch count before being dismissed to the gym for testing. Testing should conclude around 11:30 a.m. and students will return to classes.
Students in grades 8–11, please make sure you return your course approval forms to Mrs. Reese by Friday, March 27th. These forms were mailed to your home address. If you need another copy, please stop by the counseling office.
SENIORS... this is a reminder that all local scholarships in AppCentri are due Wednesday, April 1st before 4:00 p.m. Please make sure all required materials including reference forms are submitted before the deadline. Spring Musical... Annie Jr. is this Thursday and Friday at 7pm!! Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door or at the high school front office.
ACT Testing The state required ACT Test for all Juniors at Wisner-Pilger is Tuesday, March 24. Show up early (before 8:15), bring a pencil and calculator. Juniors will be dismissed from school after testing is completed around 12:30.
The late registration deadline for the April 11th ACT is March 24th. Test fee waivers are available for qualifying students. Late fees will apply. Register at act.org. See Mrs. Reese if you have questions.
Sign-Up for Summer Drivers Education Class is open... stop by the front office for more information or to sign up and pick up a form. Drivers Education classes are from Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, May 29th (4 days) 7:30am to 12:30pm each day. Completed forms and payment are due back to the front office by Friday, May 1st.
Juniors and Seniors: Grand March sign-up is in the office. Sign up by Friday, April 10th.

Football Meeting... There will be a brief informative meeting for all incoming 9-12 (8-11) graders interested in playing football next fall in Mr. Burki's room at 7:55 am on Wednesday March 18th. This will include information on summer weights, camps, and activities.
Juniors will have a prom meeting on Thursday, March 19th at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Olson's room.
Farmworker Tuition Assistance & Scholarships: A representative from Proteus will be here during Flex on Thursday, March 19th to talk about how eligible students can receive money to help pay for college. Any student who has done farm work or is a dependent of a farmworker may qualify.

Wisner Pool is hiring pool managers and lifeguards for this summer... If you are interested and are 15 years of age or older stop by the high school office for an application. If you need to get certified in lifeguard, water safety instructor, pool operator and/or CPR please don't wait.
