Happy Birthday today to... Jentrye Frederickson!!


Congratulations to Riley Ross, who was named the winner of the District VFW Voice of Democracy competition! Also, congratulations to Dylann Ott, who finished third overall! Riley advances to the state championship in Lincoln! They will be recognized at the VFW's district meeting in January. Congratulations!


There will be a 7th-grade class meeting in Miss Lamp's room on Wednesday during flex.


Students interested in the Spring Musical... check your email for audition day information and sign up. Students must sign up by Tuesday, December 23rd.


CHICS is sponsoring "Kids Come Shop For Your Family and Friends!" event... Sunday, December 14th from 10am to 2pm and Monday, December 15th from 3pm to 9pm at the Wisner Firehall. All items are from $1 to $5. Please bring cash - NO cards or checks.


Dual Credit Psychology: Juniors or Seniors interested in taking dual credit Psychology must enroll through Northeast by Friday, December 12th. Spots for Wisner-Pilger students will not be guaranteed after that point.


Schedule Changes: Students requesting a schedule change for next semester may pick up a Schedule Change Request Form from the counseling office starting today. Forms must be signed and returned to Mrs. Reese by Friday, December 19th.


Music Boosters has the concession stand on Saturday, December 20th for the Wisner-Pilger Wrestling Invite. Students/Parents are expected to work based on the following shift assignments. Freshman A Last Name A - K (9:30am - 10:30am); Freshman B Last Name M - V (10:30am - 11:30am); Sophomore A Last Name A - M (11:30am - 12:30pm); Sophomore B Last Name N - V (12:30pm - 1:30pm); Junior A Last Name A - H (1:30pm - 2:30pm); Junior B Last Name I - Z (2:30pm - 3:30pm); All Seniors (3:30pm - 4:30pm). Congratulations to Berlyn Holmes, who claimed the district championship in the northeast Nebraska American Legion Oratorical Contest! She is the first W-P student to advance to the state championships! The state championship will be held January 16th in Norfolk--well done, Berlyn!


Concession stand sodas will be sold for $1 each in the cafeteria after school this week while supplies last.


Holiday Food Drive Student Council is sponsoring a food drive to benefit our local food banks. Please donate by bringing canned or shelf-stable foods to school (no ramen noodles). Donations must be counted by your class sponsor, then dropped off by the tree in the Study Hall area. The winning class will get pizza for lunch on the last day before break. Sponsors: 7th Grade-Meyer, 8th Grade-Butterfield, 9th Grade-Ludwig, 10th Grade-Burki, 11th Grade-Butterfield, 12th Grade-Kreikemeier


JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS - Contact Coach Raabe by Wednesday, December 10 if you are interested in an off-season opportunity.


PINNACLE JUNIORS SIGN UP for players in grades 9-11 will be Wednesday, December 10 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Elementary Commons.


Seniors... just a reminder that your senior picture needs to be emailed to Mrs. Bodwell, preferably before the end of 1st semester. If you want a different picture for the composite and yearbook, send them both to her labeled which is which. This is not for the senior slide show. Thank you.
