November Student Makeup Day The November Student Makeup Day is this Friday, October 3. Any students still on the Flex list on Friday at 2:30 will be required to stay until 4:00, or until deficiencies are corrected, whichever comes first.
Congratulations to the following W-P students whose Voice of Democracy essays and speeches will advance to the district contest! --Jayly Avila, Dylan Ott, and Riley Ross! The Wisner VFW Auxiliary also wanted to recognize three additional students for their fine entries: Jase Alexander, Shekinah Claus, and Charli Jacobs. They will also be recognized at the Veteran's Day program! Also, congratulations to Bentley Sateren, who is Wisner-Pilger's Patriot's Pen winner! His essay advances to the district championship, and he will be recognized at the Veteran's Day contest!
Congratulations to Berlyn Holmes, who won the Wisner-Pilger American Legion speech contest! She now advances to the Legion district competition! Berlyn is the first W-P student to participate in the American Legion competition! Well done, Berlyn!
GATOR VOLLEYBALL Awards Night will be Tuesday, November 11 @ 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. A free will donation will be collected for the meal. See you there!

Concession stand sodas will be sold for $1 each in the cafeteria after school TODAY while supplies last.
Seniors... just a reminder that your senior picture needs to be emailed to Mrs. Bodwell, preferably before the end of 1st semester. If you want a different picture for the composite and yearbook, send them both to her labeled which is which. This is not for the senior slide show. Thank you.
BOY'S BASKETBALL BEGINNING OF THE YEAR MEETING THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL: Any boys who plan on playing basketball this year or are interested in possibly playing should attend this meeting. The meeting will take place Thursday after school in Mr. Labenz's Kindergarten classroom in the Elementary.
