NHS Students... Readers are needed for Monday, October 9, Monday, October 16, Monday, October 23, and Monday, October 30. A 5th grade student covered for you this Monday. Please sign up for these days also. Remember if you are reading with another person it only counts as half a reading lab.

Seniors and Sophomores... just a reminder that the Midwest Grads Representative will be here during flex on Thursday. All seniors will need to turn in the Cap and Gown order form. You may turn this in to the office or to the rep on Thursday. Sophomores if you are interested in ordering a class ring bring your information with you on Thursday to meet with the rep. Thank You!

ONE ACT: Handbook waivers are due by Friday, October 6th. Please turn into Miss Cole or Mr. Chromy. If you still need a handbook, grab one off the table outside Mr. Moeller’s classroom. Thanks!

TeamMates Mentors and Mentees, plan to join us for TeamMates Tailgate this Friday! Come to the football game, meet up with your match, and cheer for the Gators! Check in at the gate for FREE admission to the game, plus receive a voucher for concession treats.

Student Makeup Day - 1st Quarter The first Student Makeup Day will be Friday, October 6. We will be changing the school calendar to a regular dismissal, instead of the normal 2:30 dismissal, for students in grades 7-12. However, students in Good Academic Standing, meaning those students that are passing all their classes with above 70% and with no missing work in any classes, will be dismissed at 2:30 as usual. Students that are not in Good Academic Standing will be required to stay until 4:00 to work with teachers to correct deficiencies. There will not be transportation provided by the school for these students that are required to stay until 4:00. Families will be notified via email on Thursday, October 5 if students are assigned to stay until 4:00 on Friday, October 6. Students that are not in Good Academic Standing and who are absent on October 6 will be required to stay the following Friday.

The late registration deadline for the October 28th ACT is October 6th. Test fee waivers are available for qualifying students. Late fees will apply. Register at act.org. See Mrs. Reese if you have questions.

The Wisner-Pilger Music Program has kicked off its fall fundraiser. Students will be selling food and gift items in person or online. The fundraiser will conclude on Tuesday, October 10th. Contact any band or choir student to help support their music trip in 2027. You can also contact Mr. Dennis or Ms. Daly with any questions or concerns.

GATOR SPEECHERS and POTENTIAL SPEECHERS! The Lincoln Pius tournament is coming up next month! Talk to Mr. Moeller or Mrs. Alexander this week to begin looking at events, topics and scripts if you are interested in competing for the Speechin' Gators!
