Happy Birthday today to... Edyn Oswald!!

Congratulations to Bryant Peck, who finished third overall at the Nebraska state "Poetry Out Loud" competition Sunday in Lincoln! Bryant was the first ever W-P Gator to enter this competition--well done!

Golf practice will start in Mr. Cornell's room today.

STATE SPEECH TEAM MEMBERS... get in and practice this week! Today--4-5 PM; Tuesday--7:30 AM and 4-7 PM; Wednesday morning, 7:30 AM!

Play rehearsal tonight starting at 6:30. Please bring your scripts!!

Juniors and Seniors: Prom sign-up is in the office. Sign-up by Friday, March 17th. The fee for underclassmen and out of town dates is $25.

FFA Week Activities March 13th Through March 18th... Monday - Wear a hat day and steak sandwich lunch! Tuesday - Drive a pickup day and win a prize after school! Wednesday - FFA T-Shirt Day and teacher appreciation breakfast! Thursday - Elementary Barnyard Day! Friday - Drive a tractor to school, Dress up-Hawaiian Cowboy and Ag Olympics during Flex and 8th period. Saturday - 9am Patron Breakfast in the Elementary Commons followed by the Labor Auction in the Fine Arts Auditorium!

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Potluck and Awards Night will be Thursday, March 16 in the elementary cafeteria starting at 6 P.M.

Seniors... remember to be reporting all scholarships that you have been offered, even ones that you will not be able to use. They will not be reported in the graduation program if we don't know about them. Thank You!

State FFA Applications are available for FFA members interested in attending student workshops and sessions. Download from Canvas, type and print applications. App’s are due to Mr. Overturf by Wednesday March 15th.

Senior Basketball Players... stop by Mr. Polk's room to pick up your individual senior basketball banner.

A representative from Southeast Community College will be here during lunch on Wednesday, March 15th. Stop by to learn more about SECC and what they have to offer.

Beginning 4th Quarter (March13)... students with overdue books will not be allowed to check out additional books until the overdue book is returned. Please return library books promptly after you finish them or are no longer reading. There are currently eighty-two students with overdue books. If you are still reading the book, you will need to bring the book to the library for us to renew.

National Honor Society Readers... Monday - August, Tuesday - Carter & Braxton, Wednesday - Brittney, Thursday - Austin, Friday - Emma & Owen. Readers needed for March 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. Seniors going to Close-up need to make sure they are not signed up to read that week.
