Tuesday FFA Trivia Question... What is Nebraska’s rank in sunflower production in the U.S.?

Midland University will be available during Flex on Wednesday. Please sign up with Mrs. Kreikemeier if you would like to visit with Midland U.

There will be a very brief boys track meeting right after school today in Mr. Burki's room.

Wayne State College will be at lunch on Wednesday.

GIRLS TRACK: Practice officially starts March 2nd. If you plan on missing practice anytime that week for state basketball, you are expected to make the time up after school next week.

Applications are being taken for lifeguards at the Wisner pool. Stop by the City Office to pick up an application. Must be age 15 or above.

NHS officers... please find a time to meet with Mrs. Glaubius.

Community Blood Drive... will be at the Wisner-Pilger High School on Wednesday, February 26th from 12 to 6pm. Please contact Keena Koehlmoos at 402-750-6549 for an appointment. Soup and Bars will be served. 16 year olds wishing to donate can pick up a parent permission form from the front office.

National FFA Week Days! Everyone is welcome to participate. Participants will earn prizes daily! Tuesday- Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. Wednesday- Hick Dress up Day. Thursday- Elementary Ag Day and FFA Shirt. Friday- Pickup Day. **Daily Ag Trivia Questions in the announcements. Report answers to Mr. Overturf. ***Stop in the office to guess how many corn kernels in the jar!

Students... FEMA is accepting applications for their Youth Preparedness Council (YPC). The YPC was created in 2012 to unite young leaders who are interested in supporting disaster preparedness and making a difference in their communities. Juniors and Seniors: prom and grand march sign-up is in the office. Please let the office know if you are not attending. Juniors, the $15 fee needs to be paid before you can attend prom.

GIRLS TRACK (and THOSE INTERESTED): A sport psychologist will be presenting Wednesday February 26th (4:00) here at school. She will address anxiety issues, ways to prepare for competitions, and methods of building up confidence. Please plan on attending. The program will last no more than one hour.

Boys Basketball players, managers, and coaches... you have goodie bags in the front office. You may clean them out each day after school and may take them with you on Tuesday after school. GOOD LUCK AT DISTRICTS!!!

Students... If you are interested in learning more about the John Deere Tech program at Southeast Community College, please see Mrs. Kreikemeier about an event on March 5th.
