Choose What’s Right! Change What Isn’t!

The second quarter for Choose What’s Right! Change What Isn’t! provides students an opportunity to discuss the following skills: compliments, personal space, tattling/reporting, self-advocating, and apologizing. A specific skill is reviewed within each classroom during a scheduled time on Friday afternoon in the Elementary and on Wednesday afternoon in the Middle School.

As we continue to reinforce specific social skills during second quarter, we encourage everyone to continue to build upon and reinforce the following skills discussed during first quarter: tone of voice, greetings, eye contact, listening, facial expression, body language, and posture.

If you should have any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Throughout this school year, students have, infrequently, exhibited verbal and/or physical behavior resulting from what they have observed through access to adult TV shows and/or video games. Your assistance is needed in assisting students in watching age appropriate TV shows and/or video games.
